Welcome! I wear many hats and identify in many ways. I'm a first-generation immigrant settler to the US, a caste-privileged South Indian, a cis-female, a late-identified neurodivergent person, a mother, an artist, among other things.

My work as a play therapist has been centered on helping young people find their voice and their playful spirit amidst personal and structural adversity. Growing up, I struggled with my own self-esteem and self-worth, and my experiences of hardship and growth are a big part of my vision to help today's children feel seen and heard as valuable human beings in society, and as agents of change.

This work cannot be complete without support and community for parents, and for this reason, I created Parent Village. This is also why I co-authored Parenting at the Intersections: Raising Neurodivergent Children of Color .

None of this work is possible without my own soul nourishment :). A big part of that is making art. While South Indian Classical Carnatic music lives in my blood, I feel called to explore the parallel world of Jazz, to write poetry, to create with my hands, to move in dance.

Thank you for visiting and please reach out if you feel called ❤️
